The HIDA Mobility Program enables Helmholtz researchers to gain important experience, expand their expertise, and bring fresh ideas back to their centers – strengthening knowledge transfer and global collaboration.
Whether it’s methodological exchange, new perspectives, or collaborative projects: the HIDA Mobility Program enables research stays at other Helmholtz Centers or international partner institutions.
At its core, the program fosters professional dialogue, joint work on specific research questions, and the transfer of new ideas back to the home center. HIDA covers travel and accommodation costs for the duration of the research stay.
The Helmholtz Centers also benefit from the exchange: researchers from international partner institutions come to Germany to develop new ideas together.
