Title: GenAI in the Public Sector: The now & next of applications
Abstract:
The German public sector has a notoriously bad reputation: too slow, too bureaucratic, too analogue.
Drawing from her hands-on experience in several AI projects on all federal levels, Anita Klingel will paint a different picture when it comes to the adoption of AI in government services: promising projects, competency and capacity building will enable many areas of public administration to deliver better services faster. She will share best practices as well as the challenges and lessons learned in AI implementation.
Anita Klingel
As an AI expert for the German state’s inhouse consultancy, PD, Anita Klingel is responsible for AI projects in the administrative context, with a focus on AI governance, testing and certification. In 2023, she was honored as a "Young Leader in GovTech" for her work, and in 2024 as one of the "Voices of Economic Transformation".
